This week, I'm gonna talk about the future of photography!
Honestly, technology is evolving. Fast. But I'm starting to think that it's increasing at a decreasing rate. Yes, technology is getting better over time, but it's gradually becoming less and less better. There are only so many iPhones that can be made before people stop wanting them.
Though photography can still become better, I feel like it will only get better by a little bit. It will become completely-user friendly, and cameras will probably become less bulky and uncomfortable to carry around.
Everybody already knows how "hip" and "cool" it is to be a photographer. In the past few years, photography has become much more accessible to the common folk-- so it seems less special than your average painting or drawing.
In order for photography to still be considered a "fine art", it will need more than just the artsy fartsy angles and rules. Artists will need to take pictures of things that truly expose their voice and drag the audience through raw emotions. Happy, sad, angry. Whatever it is, it's gonna have to be felt.
That's the difference between a photograph and art.
